Outpatient Clinic

For first-time visitors

At our clinic, a referral letter is not required even for first-time patients. Anyone can make an appointment for a consultation, so please use our official social media accounts or the appointment page. Even if you do not have an appointment, you can still be seen, but you may have to wait as appointments take priority. Please note that the appointment time is the time you should arrive at the reception desk, not the time your consultation will begin. Depending on the consultation situation at the time, it may take 2-3 hours before you are seen. Please allow plenty of time when you come to the clinic.

Important notes when visiting our clinic

Although we have parking and bicycle parking facilities, depending on the examination, we may dilate your pupils (using eye drops to widen your pupils). Please refrain from driving a car, motorcycle, or bicycle to the clinic. Pupil dilation can cause sensitivity to light and blurred vision. Please avoid driving or doing detailed work that requires your eyes after your examination.

Items to bring with you when visiting the clinic

・Passport
・My Number Card (certificate of eligibility/medical voucher, etc.)
・Various medical certificates (elderly beneficiary certificate, public medical expense beneficiary certificate, workers' compensation insurance documents, etc.)
・Medication notebook (or something that shows the medications you are currently taking)
・Test results from other clinics
・Referral letter (medical information letter, etc.)
・Contact lens case (for those who use contact lenses)

About Second Opinion Consultations

The Second Opinion Clinic provides patients currently under the care of physicians outside our hospital with opinions and assessments regarding their diagnosis and treatment plan from our hospital's doctors. The primary purpose of this clinic is for patients to use these opinions and assessments as a reference for their future treatment decisions.

Therefore, you will need to get a medical information form from your primary physician. This form should include medical records, test results, imaging data, etc. The second doctor's opinion will be shared with the first doctor.

This is private medical care that is not covered by health insurance. It costs ¥33,000 (tax included) per hour.

We only see patients by appointment. Please bring your medical records with you when you make your appointment and tell the staff that you want to schedule a "Second Opinion Consultation." This service operates strictly by appointment. Please prepare your referral letter and inform us of your desire for a "Second Opinion Consultation" to book an appointment.

Please note that even if you receive treatment covered by insurance without an appointment, if the doctor decides you need a second opinion, you will need to make another appointment for the Second Opinion Clinic and prepare the information disclosure form. We appreciate your understanding.

Cases Not Eligible for Second Opinion

1. Consultations from anyone other than the patient themselves or their family.

2. Consultations regarding dissatisfaction with the primary physician, medical accidents, or ongoing lawsuits.

3. Consultations requesting a change of hospital.

4. Consultations regarding medical fees or medical benefits.

5. Cases where a referral letter and test materials cannot be provided.

We also strictly prohibit the use of smartphones and other electronic devices during exams and procedures. If unauthorized photography or recording is discovered, we will ask you to delete the data.
